Exploring at Sherwood Pines today. Well not really exploring, we were just following the newly built singletrack. There are signposts but no signs yet, but someone very kindly had drawn on arrows with a pen

A short route over the damn at Langsett Reservoir then up to meet the Cut Gate path and back down around the reservoir, ice on the top but ground could have been a little more frozen.
Today I have been mostly making Danish Christmas Hearts. I’m allowed my very own Christmas tree this year and as part of this was instructed to make lots of Christmas Hearts. Now I’m pretty sure my parents still have one of these I made in primary school and seeing as I’m a fair bit older now I thought I’d better make something a bit more challenging than that!
If you want to make some yourself, check out the instructions
Seemed like I wasn’t destined to go riding today, but it was too nice a day to miss. I had to use three inner tubes before we even got going! Did 22km starting in Sherwood Forest, mix of woodland singletrack and open bridleways.

A windy walk from Horseshoe Point to Donna Nook today to see the seals. Males, females and babes all lounging around (Seal numbers weekly update), although there was some impressive mud sliding going on too!
